Comparison Between Features Extraction Techniques for Impairments Arabic Speech

Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) is a tough task, with the existence of related noise and high unpredictability in speech presenting most severe problems. Especially regard to impairments, whether due disability or mispronunciation children. Extraction noise-resistant features compensate for degradation impact has remained difficult challenge last few years. This research investigated different wavelet generations extracting features, then test produced dataset from each technique two types deep learning techniques: long short-term memory (LSTM) hyper model convolutional neural network (CNN-LSTM). The result shows that MFCC reached 93% as an accuracy while CNN-LSTM was 91%, highest recorded which proves would be best feature extraction our developed dataset.
